There is perhaps no better a demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world

I'm fascinated with the cosmos. Like every man of a certain age, I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up. So, when my NASA engineer buddy approached me about the sitcom concept below, I jumped at the chance to work with him. We ended up rewriting his original script from the ground up and it was a howl fest all the way. It helped that we agreed on three things: 1. No laugh track. 2. No studio audience. 3. No grandiose "space music." That's right, just hard driving fun, cutting commentary and ass kicking science. Imagine "The Martian" in every episode.
