Comedy

Although many a real life event can capture my attention, my natural bent is towards humor. I love to laugh. I try to do a liberal amount of it daily. Writing humor is harder than we hope. But if we can do the upfront work of dreaming up situations that exude humor, writing the funny stuff is a bit easier. These comedy concepts are based on situations that I thought would be both funny, and a blast to write.

Logline: When an international incident erupts during his Italian vacation, Gary Hunter, the actor who stars in the biggest secret agent franchise in the world, is suddenly thrust into a real life secret agent mission. All he's missing are the real life secret agent skills.

Inspired by: The irresistible allure of second chances...

Logline: When Jack's old band, The Whatevers, becomes an internet sensation he learns they’ve been inadvertently booked at the next Coachella. Now, all he has to do is secure a substitute teacher for his 6th grade math students, find the original band members, and get his family's permission to become a middle-aged rock star.

Inspired by: The building of the controversial Carrilluchayoc Bridge near Machu Picchu

Logline: While on a pilgrimage to scatter the ashes of a beloved married couple, Tony and Angela become vocal activists in the ongoing debate over a controversial bridge that's benefited the local economy and the local drug cartel. When their efforts catch the attention of Valdez, the Coca King, the odds of their ashes being added to the urn increase with each hour they linger in Machu Picchu.
