Space Center

I'm always up for a little fun in the Cosmos. Here's a concept that me and my buddy Bill Lae (visual effects wizard) have been batting around for a while. The Alien News Network™ with its various programs like Space Center™ look “down” on the Earth and take a closer yet removed look at the Terran crap that’s goes on. There are three great news shows on the planet Orkknop (Andromeda Galaxy). Space Center isn't one of them. But they're waaay too wonky to care!

Detail: Sociopolitical Satire

Inspired by: All the grandiose silliness that is life on Earth

Tagline: "There’s intelligent life out there somewhere. But not there."

Logline: Facing cancellation in a matter of weeks, the broadcast journalists of Space Center hijack satellite transmissions in a last ditch attempt to break the story of their lives. Through a freak ricochet in the cosmos, they intercept a reality show broadcast from a distant train wreck of a salt water planet, that the silly inhabitants call, Earth. BINGO!
