INTELLORUS

In recent years, I’ve been pained by the high levels of incivility and mean-spiritedness in our society. After reading multiple “state of the training industry” reports year after year, it became clear that corporate cultures had also become toxic. I won’t bore you with the statistics, but the need for people skills or “soft skills” training in the workplace is dire.

So, under the banner of Trainevision, I expanded my LearningTV concept into an online learning platform complete with a growing library of soft skills courses, apps, games and analytics. All designed to help people learn to be kinder and more tolerant of one another. I call this learning environment, Intellorus™. Below is some content we created for our investor pitch deck and executive summary.

Gallup, Deloitte, the Harvard Business Review and other major research organizations of the world all agree - our corporate cultures are in a tailspin of mean-spiritedness, incivility and disengagement. These problems cost US businesses nearly $550B annually. The research says it's due to an overwhelming lack of soft skills expertise. Leigh Gregory, Co-founder and CEO of Trainevision believes that this unkind behavior is not only bad for business, but it's bad for society as a whole. Watch as he explains his company's mission to heal incivility in our society by creating an entertainment-based "soft skills only" culture improvement platform for businesses, colleges and individuals. Yes, he knows it's a tall order, but he maintains that business culture is the "last best place to affect positive change in adult behavior."
